Which payment methods will appear on my site after integrating Yandex.Money's solution?
When integration is complete, the following payment methods becomes available on your site:
  • Bank cards
    Visa (including Electron), MasterCard and Maestro.
  • Yandex.Money
    From 25 million our e-wallets' users.
  • WebMoney
    From WM Purses in rubles.
  • QIWI Wallet
    On QIWI website and via QIWI Wallet application.
  • Cash
    Via payment kiosks, ATMs, and mobile retail outlets—all in all more than 250,000 locations in Russia and other countries.
  • Payments through online banking
    Via Alfa-Click, Promsvyazbank's online banking, Sberbank Online, and MasterPass—all in all about 30 million users.
  • Direct carrier billing
    For Beeline, MeagFon, and MTS subscribers.
  • Payments via credit services
    ‘KupiVkredit’ (Tinkoff Bank), promised payment (QPPI.ru).

How will the payment process look like?
You client places an order as usual, clicks a button (for instance, ‘Pay’), and sees all available payment method. You have the following options to post a step with selection of a certain method:

What bank cards can I accept as payment?
Visa (including Electron) and MasterCard (including Maestro).
Note: For some types of stores, payments with cards issued outside of the CIS are unavailable. For more information, please contact a Yandex.Money manager at: sales@yamoney.ru.
 
Where will I receive payments?
Money is transferred to your bank account the day after the payment is processed. The service's commission is deducted from the payment amount (more on fees).
 
Are there limits on payment amounts?
Yes. Uses may pay within the following amounts:
  • with a bank card—250,000 rubles at a time and 500,000 rubles a month;
  • from Yandex.Money account—15,000 rubles for anonymous users, 60,000 rubles for reviewed users, and 250,000 rubles for identified users. Monthly limits are not applied;
  • from a WM Purse—60,000 rubles at a time and 150,000 rubles a month. To charity organizations—15,000 rubles at a time;
  • via QIWI Wallet—250,000 rubles at a time;
  • in cash—15,000 rubles at a time. Some mobile retail outlets and payment kiosks may apply stricter limits. Monthly limits are not applied;
  • via ‘Alfa-Click’—60,000 rubles at a time;
  • via Promsvyazbank's online banking—60,000 rubles at a time;
  • via Sberbank Online—100,000 rubles a day through the online banking, 10,000 rubles through the mobile banking;
  • via MasterPass—250,000 rubles at a time and 500,000 rubles a month;
  • using ‘KupiVkredit’ (by ‘Tinkoff Bank’)—3,000 to 100,000 rubles at a time;
  • using a promised payment (by ‘QPPI.ru’)—100 to 3,000 rubles at a time.
Limits on payments by direct carrier billing depend on the store's type. One-time limit is 15,000 rubles, monthly limit is 30,000 rubles for Beeline phone numbers and 40,000 rubles for MegaFon and MTS phone numbers
 
What commission does Yandex.Money charge and who pays it?
A user pays the amount specified on your site (excepting if a subagent makes additional charges). Our commission is deducted upon transferring the money on the company's checking account.
Commission amount depends on the activity type, total turnover, and certain payment method:

The basic rate is applied by default. You can select a different one, if you activate all methods of receiving payments:
  • ‘Premium’ tariff can be activated if your monthly turnover exceeds 1 million rubles;
  • individual rates—negotiated for stores with monthly sales volumes of more than 5 million rubles.
 
How to get financial statements for accounting purposes?
We will send electronic copies to your email and signed and certified duplicate originals to your postal address. You will need to sign and return one copy to us.
 
What should I do if numbers in the statements don't correspond?
Write to our accountants at shoppay@yamoney.ru. We will figure everything out.
 
How do you provide security of payments with bank cards?
Our service is operating according to international Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This standard is developed by Visa and MasterCard payment systems. It includes 12 requirements on data security.
Every year certified auditors check whether the service meets all demands, and then issue a certificate.
 
 

Implementation conditions

Firstly, you need to send a request. You will get access to a merchant's account, under which you can fill out a form about your company and attach scanned documents. Then our manager will call your and guide on further actions. You can complete technical integration of skip it (if you do not need automated orders processing).
Onboarding process usually takes no more than three days.

Which documents are needed for sign up?
Sole proprietors need to provide the company owner's passport.
Corporations need to provide their CEO's passport.
You need to scan the main page of your passport and the page with registration, then upload it with your merchant account.
In addition to this, we may ask for the following documents:
  • proxy notice relating to entering into contracts;
  • company representative's passport scan copy (or the one of sole proprietor) if the representative will sign the application;
  • license if your business requires licensing.
You can send us copies of these documents later when signing up.
 
How long does the sign up process take?
You'll be able to start accepting payments within three days of filling out the form and uploading scanned copies of your passport and application to your merchant account. How much time it takes to complete technical integration depends on your specialists.
 
Can legal entities and sole proprietors accept payments to a checking account without a contract?
We offer our Yandex.Billing for this. It is a payment form on your site that allows you to accept money from cards and Yandex.Money Wallets. The setup takes 10 to 20 minutes; you do not need to enter into a contract.
License fee. You pay for the form operation once—3,000 rubles. Without commission for your clients.
Limits. One license fee allows you to accept 100 payments jointly amounting up to 100,000 rubles.
Settlement. You get money to your company account within 2–3 business days. We send notifications to your email after each payment.
For your accounting department, the transfers via the form are appear as a common wire transfer (payment to bank account) made by an individual.
 
How can individuals raise money to their Yandex.Money Wallets?
There are several methods:
  • if you have a site or blog, you can post our payment form or button on it,
  • if you do not have a site, you can share a link to your fundraising in social networks (click your balance on the top of the page: you'll see a menu with this link).
Besides that, you can issued invoices via email.
Don't forget to free up space in your Wallet, if it is full. Otherwise new transfers from other Wallets and linked bank cards will be put to pending deposits for 7 days and then returned to their senders. You can keep up to 15,000 rubles on an anonymous account, up to 60,000 rubles on a reviewed account, and up to 500,000 rubles on an identified account.
 
 

Technical Integration

Technical integration with our service allows you to automatically process orders. Technical integration isn’t necessary if you have a simple site that requires you to process orders manually. If you have a complex site with automatic order processing (or you are planning to implement such a system) then you will most likely need technical integration.
 
How long does the integration process take?
It depends how fast your technical specialists carry out the protocol on your end.
 
What is Shop ID and scid and where do I get them?
These parameters are unique for every site and serve for identification and payment acceptance. You'll receive them during the process of integration with our service. For starters, you'll need to send an application to sign up. Then test out payment acceptance with one of our specialists. When we are sure everything is working, your site will receive a unique scid and Shop ID.
If you've already implemented our Payment Solution, log into your merchant's account:
  • Shop ID in the heading of every page,
  • scid under your Settings.
If you cannot access merchant's account, contact your manager at merchants@yamoney.ru. Specify the number of your contract with Yandex.Money and your store's name and ask to send your Shop ID and scid.
 
What's an SSL-certificate and why do I need one?
An SSL certificate is a kind of unique digital signature for your site. It is required to transfer personal data through a secure connection between a client and a server.
SSL certificates come in two varieties: pre-prepared and self-signed. You can use either. However, the latter option is only suitable for technical messaging between your site and our services.
 
How do I get a pre-prepared SSL-certificate?
You can issue SSL certificate for your domain for 1 year from our partner  upon implementing Yandex Payment Solution. Certificated issued by other certification authorities will do, too.
An SSL-certificate is included in the price of hosting your site. Check with your provider's support service to find out whether that's the case.
A lot of CMSs provide the certificated by default. For example: 1C-Bitrix (Bitrix24), ABCP, Gollos, Insales, LPgenerator, Resonline, SiteEdit, Umi.ru, and AutoWebOffice. Check with your CMS's customer support, if you have an option to install SSL-ceritficate for the domain, and what needs to be done for that.
 
What types of payment notifcations can I receive?
  • HTTP-notifications
    We'll send you HTTP-requests with information about the payment. This method requires technical integration with our service and is suitable for sites that have automated systems of processing orders (or the ability to implement one).
  • email notifications
    We'll send a message with information about each payment to your email. In this case, technical integration is not necessary; you'll need to process payments manually.
Note: You cannot receive notifications from both systems. More about the different sign up options
 
What's the difference between operating with a protocol and operating without one?
Integration via our protocol allows you to process orders automatically. Without integration, you will be notified by email about payments and process them manually.
 
How can I process a return and how much does it cost?
You can cancel payments and make partial or full refunds using one of two methods:
  1. By payment order
    You send an order to your bank. The bank transfers the amount to your account, then we return the money to the user. Detailed instructions
  2. Automatically
    For this method, you need to implement a special MWS protocol. If the return is made on the same day as the payment (before 23:59 MSK), we will not charge commission. If the return is made at 00:00 or later, commission will be charged as for a successful transfer.
 
Which CMSs do you have ready-made plugins for?

What bank cards can I accept as payment?
Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro issued in any country of the CIS (excepting Moldova). If you need to accept card from other countries, contact your personal manager.
Unfortunately, bank cards issued in the USA or Australia cannot be accepted at any case.
 
Can I accept rubles on a checking account?
Yes, if the following two options have met:
  • your checking account is either multy-currency or ruble account
  • the prices of the store are set in rubles, and the buyers pay in rubles.
 
When does the money land on the checking account?
If you receive payments in Russian rubles, we send money on the next day after a payment. The crediting at that can take up to 5 days (depends on the country and bank).
Currency of other countries is credited in lots—in a week after the target amount has been hit:
  • 1,800 US Dollars or Euros, if you accept transfers in this currency;
  • equivalent of 1,000 Russian rubles, if you accept Belarusian Rubles, hryvnias, or tenges.
If the total amount remains below this threshold, we credit money every 40 days.

Implementation conditions

Firstly, you need to send a request. You will immediately receive a form for corporations to your email. You need to fill it out and send it back to us.
After review, we file a list of documents you need to send to us. Other variant—request a company profile in an agency: papers won't be necessary, and you will only need to pay the bill.
When paperwork is finished, you can complete technical integration or skip it (if you don't provide automated order processing).
 
We locate in Crimea, yet act according to Ukrainian registration documents. Can we sign up as a Russian company?
To do so, you need to modify constitutional documents to conform with the Russian legislation. As soon as your company is recorded in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, you can sign up for our payment solution as a Russian corporation.
 
How can individuals raise money to their Yandex.Money Wallets?
There are several methods:
